You need to stop Prime 95 manually. I'd recommend you to get aftermarket cooler. Stock cooler is piece of ****.

I've never really REALLY used it, but i had to stop it manually. If i am not wrong, it will keep on going until you tell it to stop. But i used it like years ago. I don't know how it works now.

Anyway, i think you should get an aftermarket cooler. I myself have a CM Hyper 212+, but i got so lazy that i just slapped on the stock cooler to test, then never bothered to install the aftermarket cooler.

On the stock cooler, i get erratic temps, running a game can lead to an increase in 10C in an instant and when i stop it, it suddenly decreases by 15C or something like that. Basically it operates at temps between 40C and 70C.

Indeed  intel should put coolers like AMD's for average users like me.
I've stopped the program and the temps now shows about 38c to 40c.

Do I have to buy a cooler for now? does my cpu damages if i dont buy a cooler? what do you advice

Cooler Master Hyper 212+ looks awesome and has great feedback too, I think ill buy it next year when the weather gets warmer. so from what i know my CPU is working fine and its not dead or damaged. its all from the cooler. Thank you.

Nope, your CPU wont damage if you keep stock cooler as you are not over clocking. Anyways, keep saving money for next year and get something cool. Like Corsair H80, little expensive but it cools damn great and its not huge heatsink. If you don't overclock then its not needed, get Hyper 212+

If you just want better cooling and you dont plan to overclock much,I would even recommend hyper212's little brother : hyper tx3.
It is much easier to install then hyper212 since it install the same way as stock cooler.
Hyper212 is more complicated to install.
Its even cheaper then hyper212
And temp difference is only 3-4 degrees
