I have an emachines 23 inch LCD monitor and im running windows 7 home 64 bit. My monitor has been running fine at 1920x1080 for about 4 months now. JUST NOW when i turned my computer on this morning the resolution is at 1600x1200 and 1920x1080 is not an option in the list... soon after i discovered this the monitor proceeded to blink about 5 times and then went to sleep, I had to unplug and re-plug the VGA cable to wake it up... My video games play at 1600x1200 and the screen displays off center.

How can i get my native resolution back or.. is my monitor just plain dying confused.gif

UPDATE: the monitor just flickered and now it says UNKNOWN DISPLAY, its running at 1920x1080 now, what is going on?

Try shutdown, turn monitors off, unplug all monitors from card, plug them back, turn monitors on and restart PC. Go into Window screen and resolution to select the correct resolution and refresh rate. Don't set it from NV Control Panel.

If that doen't work, uninstall Forceware and reinstall.
