kay guys,

can I OC an i5-2500K with this motherboard? I've read that several mobo's don't support OCing even if the cpu is unlocked.

Nope, h61 chipsets don't allow overclocking. If you want to you need a p67/z68 chipset mobo.

Ah thanks! Good to hear that in time Do you think it's worth it oc the i5, when gaming? Because they don't seem to be cheap :/

Yeah, you can get a z68 biostar board for cheap and and it will overclock well. I love my i5 lol.

Not sure but it should be able to do 4.5 easy.

Yes, there are a number of people posting here with that mobo who are overclocking. The bios options are much more limited than the more expensive boards, but they can still mostly do 4.5 with moderate tweaking.
