Xeon W3565 max CPU configuration is only 1 CPU.
I don't think you can go Dual Processor solution with that Xeon.
You should check Xeon 5000 series that supports more than one CPU configuration.

Aha, it's not a dual QPI. That's a bit of a bummer, but there are 5000 series processors available. I will come up with a few builds, see if metroidfreak's is viable, and post them here in a few minutes.

Here are they (will add more as I come up with them):
http://prisguide.hardware.no/liste/128234
http://prisguide.hardware.no/liste/128235
http://prisguide.hardware.no/liste/128236
http://prisguide.hardware.no/liste/128237

(excuse the Norwegian page, just look at the product names and you should be fine)

Totally forgot to check the QPI

If you want 6 core the cheapest dual QPI is the E5649.

Cheapest 4 core with dual QPI is going to be the E5630

I would recommend you to buy from one or two single Norwegian stores instead of using prisguide, prisguide is one of the worst sites I've tried to use.

Of course. I only use prisguide because it has a good list function. I am working on a program that will have a significantly better list function, but until that is done, it's prisguide for the lists, then I look around for shops that have all the items and buy from there. I've posted 4 lists in a previous post, all lists are public and should be viewable.

Until you can find me a game that makes use of 16 threads, I don't think it will be better for games.

Perfect example of why you should read the thread. Anyways this isn't for gaming. He explained that in the very first post its a secondary worry or atleast alluded to that.
