3x 120Hz Eyefinity Portrait Setup - Page 17

The text is blurry in portrait if you have sub pixel rendering methods enabled in windows that try and smoothe out text (cleartype). If it tries to render text with these smoothing methods when it thinks the monitor is in an RGB sub pixel layout instead of V-RGB, it'll turn out messy.

Hm interesting. While I wouldn't say "bezelless", the internal bezels do seem quite small. Only if they made a 120 Hz version. wink.gif

In the video I see you always above 100FPS in eyefinity, Can I achieve that with the same cards at the same speeds but with a 3570k at 4.5GHz?

Hi there I'll be crossfiring the HD 7970s, and ill be getting triple monitors for my eyefinity setup i have catched up these 3 beautys:

These are reated at 120hz. But heres is the problem and i need all your help please.

I will have one connected from DVI to DVI.

Another one MiniDisplay Port to DVI active adapter.

And heres the DILEMA, I have and adapter HDMI to DVI.

FIRST. Would i get 120hz with this set up?.

OR

SECOND. Should i buy a second MiniDisplay Port to DVI active adapter?.

IF SO. Would it be possible to get 120hz in all monitors with dvi to dvi and two minidp to dvi actives adapters if i get one of those minidp to dvi active adapters from mac apple?.

I live in Argentina and its really difficult to get things here, specially when we talk about technology. Its a shame.

with hdmi you cant get 120hz, as mostly cards themself have only single link hdmi, even if lcd has 120hz capability and connectivity. also if you want portrait you will need to remove bezel on this one

nice setup, so how big are the actual monitors when there like that? I mean across the screen? Doesnt look too big in the picture.

Also vega you have 8 ocz vertex 4s in raid 0? Is there any need for that many ssd?
