What can I reduce? - Nvidia GTX 560TI

Thread Starter
I was wondering if you could help me determinate if I found some great deals, and if my parts are all compatible together. You know, just to be sure everything is ok before buying. With these parts, I get a bill of 1000$ wich is a bit high for me, so if you can find me parts that have almost the same power, but for less, i would appreciate.

My components

- Coolermaster HAF 922 - 101,20$
- Intel Core I5 2500k - 209.69$
- Asus DVD Writer 24X - 21.32$
- SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 1TB - 74.99$
- MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti Hawk - 259,69$
- Asus P8P67 PRO - 172.64$
- OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W - 75.00$
- G.Skill Ripjaws 2X4GB DDR3-1600 CL8-8-8-24 Memory - 64,14$
- CPU Cooler, Coolermaster Hyper 212 - 23,00$

I will use this as an all purpose computer so it should be good at gaming and should have some good upgrade potential.

Thanks a lot.

Keven

BTW. Sorry for my bad english

Switch the HDD with a Spinpoint F3, and you can always get a cheap case like the NZXT Gamma.

Just checked the spinpoint F3, and it's only 3$ less on newegg.ca and it does not support eSata 6gb/s.

For the case, I'm going to read some reviews...

Thanks.

No traditional HDD will max out SATA 6gb/s anyway, let alone SATA 3gb/s. So indeed, swap out that HDD for the Spinpoint F3.

fixed.
He is right. Plus, most reviews shows the F3 to be the best HDD.
You could also go for a cheaper case.

So I'll change this one for this one

I'll check for a cheaper case. Thanks

EDIT: Actually, changing the hard drive, makes me pay even more $$$. But if you say it's better, lets go for it!

Check out the Coolermaster CM II advanced, it is slightly cheaper. And maybe you can get a cheaper PSU, not sure about that tough.

Would the Elite 430 be a good case?
or the HAF 912?

Swap HDD with Hitachi 7K1000.D, it's the fastest HDD on the planet and 5$ cheaper.
690 II Advanced is 90$
You can probably save quite a bit on buyer RAM with cheaper timings.
