Question about monitor inputs

Thread Starter
I'm going to be building a computer soon, and the one thing I'm clueless about it monitors. I've been looking at monitors around the $200 range and one thing I've been wondering about is using DVI-D going to effect anything when using 1920x1200 60hz? As I'm going to using something else on an HDMI port I was wondering if I would run into a limitation with DVI-D and have to find a monitor with 2x HDMI or DisplayPort or I would be fine using it as is.

Also if there are any magnificent bang for your buck monitors around the $200 range on NewEgg let me know definitely open minded to finding a good but budget monitor.

Thanks, Joey.

its pretty much the same as HDMI but it does not support audio up to 7.1 surround LPCM.

And no it wont matter as I am running DVI-I (does both analog and digital signaling) @ 1920x1200 60hz with a DVI-I to HDMI cable and never had a problem for the past 2 years of using it.
