I ditched cable last December. Took a while to get use too. I built two HTPC (One for the living room and my bed room) and bought two TV tuner cards so I can still get basic digital cable and record some channels. But I mainly use netflix and hulu. Canceling me cable saved me $110.00 a month!

I haven't watched live TV in a long time. I have an HTPC, an Xbox 360 and a Roku. With these, I have a netflix account and HULU +. So there is no need for cable at my place.

Haven't had cable for years until recently.But the only people that watches cable are my kids and in-laws.I'm always on my pc either browsing or watching movies.It might get clipped soon.And Ill build the wife and kids a HTPC,get the father in-law a ROKU.

We have also canceled cable, gone with Netflix streaming and hulu plus. Not the most complete selection, but $20 total for two services is better than $40 total for one (the cheapest cable package in our area, which consisted of regular broadcast channels plus discovery and food network).
