Because their are not many decent optical sensors.

Dont like logitech.

I dont mind the razer but they have poor build quality.

There are plenty more than those two. Zowie and Mionix just to name two more.

I dont do prediction.

Lazer on cloth is fine. Its blown out of proportion.

CM Storm Xornet / Spawn may be interesting then.
Also the SS Kana and/or Kinzu2.

Not quite. Acceleration is one problem. The other is max control speed. The third is malfunctioning. You can read everywhere about it.
I myself couldn't/wouldn't believe that myself, but experienced all of that with my Xai last year, which has the exact same "best" laser sensor as in the Sensei.

I know all of this. I have used a spawn. Im not a claw grip.

I use my wrist to move my mouse so max speed isnt an issue to me.

from what i have read the sensei has also been tweaked sensor.

Tweaked in that it has more useless DPI, yes. And configurable LOD.
Well, pick your poison.

For me the Steelseries Qck works fine for me G500 (Avago ADNS-S9500) but the Copperhead (Avago ADNS-6010) jitters a lot on this cloth pad. It seems some S9500 will work flawlessly on cloth.

That graph shows inconsistent acceleration kicks in at only 0,3 m/s. That's like barely moving the mouse and it's the same thing i notice when using 9500 mice. You can almost control it if you focus really hard, but it gets annoying very fast. In my experience avago 9500 is a crappy sensor to play fps with, the cursor just floats on the screen and you have no control over it. It's really weird.
However if you used Xai before and liked it, try a cloth mousepad that's smooth (with very fine texture and less grains as possible). I had the best results with Xai on my Roccat Taito mtw kingsize. That was before i trew it out the window (the mouse not the pad ). No more laser sensors for me from that day. I really sugest you wait for Kana or Kinzu V2.

Too bad the Kana didn't come out first will the Kana be the same size as the Sensei? I think I will most likely try both out anyway I'm just trying to see what mouse pad I should grab for the sensei.
