Noob needs advice on using PT Nuke PHN

This might be a silly question but I am filling my first loop and I don't want to mess this up.

I bought some PT Nuke to put in my distilled water. I bought a 3 liter jug of water and my question is do you all put the PT Nuke in the water before you fill the loop or wait to see how much water you use and then put the PT Nuke in the loop at that time.

I want to make sure I don't get too much concetrated in the loop so I am guessing the second. I would have to put 12 drops in the jug I bought which would be alot within my small loop if it wasn't mixed well.

Thanks for the help!

You can do either. 12 drops isn't going to deplete your bottle by much and you can always store the unused portion of the water for use later. Just shake the bottle a few times after adding the PTNuke and it will be well mixed. Alternatively you can do this:
  • Fill and bleed loop
  • Determine how much liquid you used
  • Mix the required amount of PTNuke into a small amount of water
  • Add PTNuke + water mix to res
  • Add a little more water to clear out any fill tubes you might have
  • Run pump - this will mix everything in nicely.

This is assuming that you have some form of fill tube arrangement. If you are adding liquid straight into the res then don't bother with all that, just fill the res then add the PTNuke directly. The pump will mix things up well enough.
