Expanding memory on Asus Transformer

Thread Starter
I want to buy a micro sdhc card for the transformer. Is class 10 cards a lot faster than class 4 cards. I am looking at these cards - one is class 4 and the other is class 10.

I would get the class 10, it is faster.

The problem is, these manufacturers can just about put any number they want on there. There isn't any central orginization that "checks". My Sandisk class 2 had nearly 6MB/s. My friends from a different brand is a class 6 with nearly 3MB/s.

Do some research, see what people are saying about the brand.

This is the correct answer. Class 10 *should* be faster, but there is no guarantee. They are not certified for that speed by anyone other than the manufacturer. Start looking at Class 10 first and then narrow it down based on reviews.

If you look on newegg, you can even see reviews stating that their low class memory is really fast, and vice versa.
