Many of our best engineers are leaving to join companies like Apple, Freescale, Qualcomm, Samsung even NVIDIA and Intel - people that thought they would never work for another company.

I smell corporate greed here - Bulldozer should be Exhibit A on keeping talent. Maybe the epic fail that is BD will change the thinking at AMD.

I think people should understand that we can't compare AMD in that way. One thing is the CPU's ... other thing is GPU's. Different divisions, different teams, different factories, different senior managers ... different all ...

My hope is that, with the new CEO they can get back to the drawing board and review the PileDriver ... at least, in whatever they can without compromising ( too much ) launch schedules.

What concerns me the most is the main drive line that AMD is taking ... that results in less time & resources for the engineers. What i see is AMD marketing being all around the GPU's and APU's ... and the CPU's are just a complement, that are enough to create an entire system without bottle necking the GPUs. This will make users think about buying more GPU's or newer GPU's ...

Just my 2 cents

Hope we can see that changing with the new CEO.
