Yes, a mini amp would do fine.

So you'll want the Dayton DTA-100a mini amp for power.

I'd recommend:
Dayton DTA-100a mini amp - $99.90
BIC Venturi 6.5's - $111
BIC Formula F1 12" subwoofer - $215

And some 12-14 gauge speaker wire plus a 3.5mm to RCA cable. All of the above parts are at Parts Express, cables go to monoprice (you can get them at P-E too, but they'll be more expensive).

Total comes to $426 plus wiring. If that's too much, drop the BIC sub down to the Dayton SUB120 for $150. That'll save you about $65, bringing you down to roughly $361 plus wiring.

No, just no. You can get a decent home theater in a box for that money, that would wipe the floor with anything Logicrap.

looked at that amp its Perfect! Never heard of BIC speakers theyre good for music (Edit: Reviews seem very good for music, how are the highs/mids/lows? It can be your personal opinion :] ) and games?

Also have a buttload of this wire:

Should be good right (I know, I know its monster cable but I bought a ton while back and have some left over)

Again thanks so much for you time and patience everyone this is new to me and I am reading and learning. I truly appreciate everyone's helpful responses.

Not entirely sure what gauge that wire is. But it should suffice fine I guess. I hope you didn't pay that much for it though. 100 feet of 14 gauge is like 20 bucks.

And yes, the BIC Venturi's are a good speaker for the money. They should sound more natural than the Polk Monitors (the Polk's being a bright speaker). I'm preparing my 7.1 for BIC Venturi speakers myself (the bookshelfs for sides / rears, and the 8" towers for fronts, and the center as center obviously). They supposedly compare to much more expensive speakers sound wise (according to reviews on them).

No worries I got 100ft for about 15 bucks. One of my friends used to work in bby nd got the cable they use to demo the speakers in the audio ht rooms (They don't sell those cables in store) So he thought he could use it but turned out he didn't need it so I gave m 15 bucks for it.

Good never was a fan of polks cause thy were very treble high whenever I'd test them. I am just curious how the BIC's would perform for games but besides that this definitley looks like my purchase

p.s. I'd go for the 12" sub the amount it is over is minimal I appreciate the thought though to keep it within budget. Lol i wish I could rep you but I can't :/

They're both 12" subwoofers. The Dayton SUB120 is going to be slightly more linear (clean), but the BIC Formula F1 is going to hit lower. The F1 is the better subwoofer over the Dayton, but they'll both be a great choice.

I know this is gonna be a total noob question, but I'd connect the subwoofer directly into my titanium hd soundcard?
