Watched this match live yesterday. There are some old school 1.6 players on the American side - Ksharp & Volcano from Team 3D and Frod and Storm from Team CompLexity. Was an interesting match to watch, the Europeans sure put up a good match.

What platform? It's the same as CS:S and DoD:S.
Just a reskin of CS:S and added some random things like molotov.

yes and 640x480 is still the preferred resolution among competitive FPS gamers

Larger resolution = bigger pixels = better chance to score a headshot! (I'm kidding.)

I assume that is a compliment because FPS's were actually good in 2003.

And on another note, Autosnipe only looked powerful because they sucked at all the other weapons. Without knowing the spray patterns on the rifles, they aren't very powerful at all, worse than pistols.

CS 1.6 community is still very conservative when it comes to gaming peripherals.

I still remember playing the original 1.0 with my IME and WMO on my huge aperture grill CRT monitor at 640x480@160Hz. Good times as a young kid.
