K60 isn't out so you won't really hear anything about it except for the hardware reps and maybe a lucky few who have had some hands-on. Same with the Ducky Shine, however, but Ducky has other boards out so you can assume the quality will be on par with the rest of their line.

If you don't care about macros, and just want the backlighting, there aren't too many boards out there for you.

Mionix has one (see amazon)

Xarmor/iOne has one (also amazon)

Ducky Shine soonish (estimated end of this month - christmas sometime)

Corsair's K60 should be 'soon' as well.

Deck Keyboards would be the best quality of the aforementioned, but no media keys.

It's all about quality and most of the backlit manufacturers aren't top tier. If you just need a run of the mill and just want to pick up a budget board, any of the above will do, but the Deck is your best bet for quality.
They all seem out of stock, guess everyone wants what I want too.

Agreed, I'm beginning like corsair's rubberized red keys more than backlighting. Mainly I just needed a backlight to see if I'm pressing #1-6 anyway, but if that makes mechanical keyboards $20-50 more expensive, that's a luxury I'm not willing to pay for.

I also like the wrist rest being only over the most important keys for gaming on the keyboard, a full rest makes it awkward to type on and a lot of them aren't removable.

But above all, when it comes down to it, I trust Corsair. I got a Corsair PSU and RAM and they don't disappoint. I trust the build quality will be comparable to the other components they manufacture. Well, I hope a release date is announced soon, I would like to get my hands on one of these. After of course other people post their reviews first
