check this site out. They stock Filco Majestouch, Das Keyboard, and a couple others with various switch options.

I suggest getting an OCN Ducky 1008. I just got mine a week ago in brown switches for $93 shipped+tax and I love it. Sure it isn't filco build quality but it's nicer than the razer blackwidow that my friend owns. Keep in mind I don't know much about keyboards I just like typing on them.

Unfortunately the keyboards listed there range from $146 to $180 in price. Would like to stay under $100 if possible.

well, you have to remember because of exchange rates and all, prices in AU are going to be higher than what we can buy things in the US for. elitekeyboards.com can ship international, but again exchange rates...

At the moment, the exchange rate for AUD to USD is actually almost even, so that's not really a problem when it comes to international shopping. Elitekeyboards charges a $62 shipping fee to Australia (over half the cost of the keyboard itself) bringing the total to $172.

Is any mechanical keyboard I try to buy really going to cost that much? D: Should I just settle with a regular keyboard if I want to stay under $100?

edit: Missed the previous posts with the cheaper mechanical keyboards, checking them out now
edit edit: Managed to find the BlackWidow (normal version) and Leopold FC500R keyboards at a decent price on www.pccasegear.com, so those are my options at the moment. Are there any other suggestions for keyboards and if not, what would be the better of the two keyboards (BlackWidow/Leopold FC500R)?

www.pccasegear.com.au also has a semi decent range now, not the best, but it's an option for you. Great service, delivery is quick, postage is cheap. Reccomended.

I don't mean from US to AU, I mean from China or Taiwan to AU vs the US. Most of these keyboards are not made here and most of them are $140+ here anyway.

edit: Leopold is many times better than Razer IMO.

Alright, looks like I might go with the Leopold FC500R then if nobody else has any suggestions on similarly priced keyboards. Still trying to decide on the switch (don't want to make the wrong decision), but I'm leaning towards browns.

^^ This. My cousin also has the Blackwidow since it came out, still like new and no problems so far. Steelseries is a great brand too.

I don't like Fluff. Used to be an eleet fanboy of all things with lighting, shiny gloss black casing, cool names like "Destruction" "Murderface v2.0" etc. Then I realized they all broke and I replaced them. When I buy stuff based on reputation and quality, I am not replacing them as often. That's why I would not recommend Razer first. Steelseries maybe because there's not a lot of fluff there.
