Yes, a 2100 stock does beat a 530-540-550 stock. The Clarkdales only have an edge over SB due to OCing capabilities, but if you're not going to OC, then yes, the 2100 is the best bet.

hi when playing crysis 2 on everything turned to max at 1600x900 i get 21-25fps and acording to the cpu meter in windows i3 2100 is at between 75-89% load i am debateing getting a i5 as i do belive it will increase fps (but not by much)

Crysis 2 is a very demanding game, its more dependent on your gpu than your cpu. switching to i5 might help a bit, but i think its your 6870 that lacking for this game right now
