Which memory to get

Thread Starter
Im looking for RAM, I currently have this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231445

I was wondering if I can get these to run with it too, because the're much cheaper.

I dont think so, since they have different timings, but dont quote me on that.

Just get the same ones to be safe and for maximum performance.

the timings aren't the same.
8-8-8-24 vs 9-9-9-24

I believe there is a way to tweak the memory settings manually in bios to use the ram, but for now i would try and stick with the same RAM and wait for a sale.

There is also These if you wanted to throw in just 4GB more ram.

Personally, i'd wait for a sale on the second set of 2x4GB G.SKILL Ripjaws X (CL8) if your current 8GB is not limiting you.
