2. I have an 890FXE (same board really), and i really don't think there is any way you can over stress the VRMs.

NameGT had the world record for a while on it:

Dude, I could break a hammer without using it.

but the Biostar board is solid ?

I will never buy ASUS boards again... Too many memory compability problems, strange performance hickups same AsROCK (at least with AMD chipsets ). I like Gigabyte. Now im testing 970A-UD3 not that good memory overclocker like 870a-US3B (rev 3.1 AM3+) but better features (i dont like expensive boards smile.gif. Very good at CPU oc and really low temps. Some cons no graphical UEFI but i can live with that. If u want xfire/sli u need 990FX because 970 is 16x or 16x/4x. One more thing 970a-UD3 is excellent with SSDs

Low temps? Curious HOW low. I've got a component getting to around 65 C when it was warm.

Really good series of motherboards for AMD and SB. I have tested with P67 and Z68 chipsets . Excellent everything you throw in both are stable as rock rolleyes.gif . I think the same is with 990FX fatality.

I was looking for the same thing you needed. I finally have a Asrock 990FX Extreme4 on it's way. It has the 8+2 VRM, 2 PCI slots, plus it comes with the optional chipset fan. I have heard it OC's good and stays fairly cool. It is Fatality's little brother but without a few features and bling.
