This board is really appealing,I have been eyeballing it for several days now. Does anybody know how the audio subsystem is for quality ? I use a open source OS and it doesn't support my Avid HD cards. So, I like to be able to rock out without headaches.

Hi there,

after those horror stories here about G54 frying VRMs, iam looking for some new mobo that could handle mine X4955BE with slight overclock 3,8GHZ at def. voltage and Arctic Freezer 13 cooller, with corsair vengeance 1600MHz RAMs, must be at some budget price like G54do, have AM3+ socket to support later FX CPUs,8ch audio, SATAIII.. Any ideas which one...??.. liked MSI stuff but what I road here its ****

what about GIGABYTE 990XA-UD3 ??

do I need to reinstall Win7 after MoBo change..????..

for the time I will stick some heatsinks onto VRMs and won't run any prime95

thanks for any advices.
