Hd 6990 question

Thread Starter
I recently completed my first gaming build. I'm looking to upgrade
my video card to a HD 6990 but was concerned as my PSU is corsair
GS 800. Is that power supply sufficient to power that card and my system?
Thank you for all replys and keep in mind I am new and learning.
Also my specs are:

Intel i7 2600k
Asus p8z68-v motherboard
2 Gigabyte hd 6870 crossfired 1 gig gddr5 video cards
16 gig corsair xms3 ram
1 TB western digital hdd caviar black*
Samsung 1080p 2333t LCD
Razer naga mmo mouse
Razer anansi keyboard
Klipsch Pro media 2.1 with sub sound audio system
Corsair GS 800 psu
Antec Twelve Hundred V3 Full Tower ATX Gaming Computer Case

Yes a GS800 is enough.

Yes, you will need around 600W for that setup.
Your Corsair GS800 also has the required 2x 8pin pci power.

Here is a great reference for further power supply questions.
Phaedrus PSU calculator

Also, if you go to the User CP on the top of the page, you can fill out your system information so you do not have to copy paste each time.
