My choises are.
1) AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3GHz.
2) AMD Phenom II X4 960T Zosma 3.0GHz.

Well I really only need a quad core but I'll looking to upgrade to windows 8 and the FX chip works better on windows 8. Not worry about unlocking the 960T.
So which one guys and gals.

This is overclock.net! Get the newest of the new! But in all seriousness you have a 900 series board might as well use it.

Honestly, I think you should go with the zosma. You don't wanna wait on a software development that may or may not give you the push you need to make the 6100 a good buy. The zosma may unlock to a hexacore but with quad core, you will have all you need already if you are only looking for a quad. To be honest, the quad core phenom II's are pretty good for the price already. Consider the 955 as well.
