The latter

My monitor, the ve248h, had terrible ghosting, and had a stuck pixel so I returned it, and I had just sold my ve228h like a week before hand. However I have fallen in LOVE with the VG278h, so im going to spend the next two or so months saving for that monitor, and am going to get that, I get store credit from returning the ve248h too.

So the sooner the monitor comes out/ I save the money, ill have a SWEET monitor.

I wonder if gaming on this will make me appreciate it more when my 27" 120hz asus monitor arrives

The V570 goes up to 1280x1024 too.

Are you sure you have the V570?

yeah but thats not one of the recommended resolutions, CRTs confuse me, it looks best at 1024x768.

Says max 1280x1024, but preset is 1024x768

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...dTypeId=382087

And yeah, it says v570 on the top right.

edit: I can run it at 1280x1024 at 60hz or 1024x768 at 85 hz, but the picture looks terrible at 1280x1024...

I am seriously debating sending you my old dell 23" monitor I got rid of it to get a 24" 1080p instead of 1780x1050 I feel bad for you bro...

Hahaha its all good bro im alright! It would cost an arm and a leg to ship anything to new zealand anyway!

I returned my main monitor because it had terrible ghosting and a stuck pixel, so I have $300 store credit at the shop I bought it from now, and I want wait a month or so until the vg278h comes out and get that! Although the urge for a new monitor is quite strong, maybe I should just settle for the vg236h.

I was playing quake a couple of hours ago, and my girlfriend said that the game suited the monitor

$300 for a 22" ASUS VE??? OMG wow that is so expensive. I was recently looking at 24" monitors and the VE was $180. The 21.5" is $155. I can't imagine how much the VG is gonna run you... are you sure its not worth it to ship things? lol

Check the Open Box monitors on Newegg, there have been a lot of good deals.

Also you can get a cheap 24" 1080p LCD Asus monitor in the $150-$165 range nowadays. Or possibly a 22" / 23" for like $130 off the Egg.

Good deals just waiting to be purchased with all your nice, fart tainted change xD
