OP, you can always get a 24" 1080p LED TN, but you want 120Hz right?

I think I may just get the 23 - after all I can order it today in time for BF3, and computers is not my MAIN hobby so its not too bad that I wont have the best right? I already have a downhill mountainbike with absolute top of the line parts that cost more then twice my pc lol.

I returned my ve248h and I think I might spring for the vg236h today. 120hz sounds amazing.

I also think that a 23 might be better when it gets competitive, because you wont have to travel your eyes as far to see whats going on... I know a lot of pro CS players play on 15" 120hz CRT's lol.

I had a ve228h and a ve248h before. Sold the 22 after I stopped doing 3d modelling and audio production because I didnt need as much screen space, then after that, my 24 got a stuck pixel so I returned it, and im going to get a 120hz monitor, the 120hz I wanted is the vg278h but thats not out for a few months, so I may just spring for the vg236h today which is a 23" 120hz monitor.

I would honestly wait if you possibly could. I would die if I could get a monitor that sweet.

Haha, well im not such a big fan of the 3d, its more the 120hz im after - so basically I would be paying around $500nz more for an extra few inches, and a matte screen. That plus my supplier said they cant get it for at least 1-2 months. I also think that 23 will be fine, I thought my ve228h was just big enough....

Then again I will be starting my degree in IT next year, so gaming will have to be shoved to the side by the time I can get it anyway!!!

+ the vg236h is still a fantastic monitor by the sounds of it
