Actually I already have two kits of the Black Ripjaws X, 2 4GB kits. I'll see first if they overclock nicely before deciding if I need to go with the 2x4GB Blue Ripjaws X.

The Blue Ripjaw X's suck (4GB sticks). They won't break past stock settings (most I was able to get was DDR3-1680 stable, period). Those are the sticks I have right now.

Oh ok, thanks for the heads up. So I guess I'll go ahead and tinker with these sticks I have first before anything else. Although I can do that after having my CPU OC stable.

That's a good idea because overclocking the memory at the same time presents too many variables which makes finding the source of instability much more difficult.

Get the double 2x4gb set, less voltage compared to 4 sticks, and also you can add another 2x4gb in the future!
