Do a search on Intel's quad core release when they first released the Q6600s vs the E8400's.
You all hailed it as a titan, even though core for core it was NOT equal, you all hailed it as the best thing since sliced bread.
Now that a similar situation has arisen...In fact the exact same situation, it's hailed as a failure...a lie...fake.
I think you all need to stop being hypocrites and realize that occasionally it takes a small step backwards in order to take a giant leap forwards.

2. And then what happened when people started OC'ing their Q6600??? The only reason there was a performance discrepancy was because the E8400 is faster out of the box. Also, don't tell me people didn't edit videos, generate graphics, create music, etc in 2008.
