Thread Starter
I was reading through the CaseLabs interview on pureoverclock, and I noticed this

Finally, we plan to release the “Gemini†series by next summer. These will be the next generation Magnum cases. We already have some exciting features planned for them.
I'm incredibly intrigued now, any chance of some of info on these

Isn't that the single wide tower? There's already a thread on here with much discussion regarding that..

The Gemini series will be a new design, but we're only at the earliest R&D stages, so the feature set will likely change. We'll have more information once the Merlin series gets closer to shipping.

Should I go for a M8 now or wait to see the new cases . . . ?! I am hoping that you will still be supplying parts and accessories for your older cases when the newer ones come out.

How long would you be prepared to wait and what features would make or break it? Personally I would assume it's going to be at least a year.

Really, thats the thing - the M8 has ALL the features I could want. So I am not looking at anything new. But I would hate to buy the M8 and then come April or so be disappointed because of some amazing new feature that these hardware geniuses thought up. But I guess that is true regardless of of what you buy in the computer world.

Absolutely we'll continue to supply parts and accessories for the current cases! That's an integral part of our business model and leverages the modular design of the cases. As new as we are, parts orders already make up a significant part of our sales.

As far as waiting goes... in this industry you have to be a moving target or the competition will eventually catch up with you. There will always be something new on the horizon, so it could be a long wait if you're waiting for a "final" design

Best regards
