Yeah what card or cards would you recomend for gaming at 1920x1200? I was thinking 2x 560ti's but would they cut it?

Thanks

Do you have a budget? 2 x 6870 is a good combination. 2 x 6950 is a really nice combination as well, but it might be a bit too pricey.

a single 560 Ti will play Crysis 2 with max graphics ("Extreme") at 1920x1080, averaging over 40 fps.

For a little bit more future-proofness, you can add a second one when you find it is no longer able to max out games.

with 2x 560 Ti's, you should be set for a couple years at least.

Two GTX560 ti 2gb if you can.

1gb of vram isn't enough for that res imo. I think 1.5gb and up for the vram department.

So two 6870 2gb varients, one 6950/6970 2gb, one GTX 570 2.5gb, one GTX580 1.5GB.

Ofcourse a GTX 590 or 6990 would also do fine.

The 560 ti 2gb would be ideal as it's a bit faster than a GTX 580 and a 580 usually does well on it's own for 1920x1200.

ahh thanks for that, so I should look at the higher vram models then

sure, for future-proofing 2 GB wouldn't be a bad idea.

i can say, however, that i have a 560 Ti 1GB model, and am running it on a 1920x1080 monitor, and my framerates are excellent.

just an FYI. Although if your budget is ~$600 then you would easily be able to get two 2GB 560 ti's and still have some left over.

I would be looking at dual 570s at your budget, but only if you can get one with decent VRMs in your budget, so the MSI TFIII PE/OC or the Asus DCII, or the EVGA Classy basically. Other than that the 2gb 560tis would be a good choice, I recommend the MSI TFII and then add some sort of VRM cooling to them.
