HIS 6950 IceQ crossfire HIS 6950 regular

Hey guys, sup?

So i have already one HIS 6950 1GB and i'm planning buying a second one.
But i dont know if i should pick just a regular one (the same as the one i have) or if i should pick the HIS 6950 IceQ version that have a better cooler system:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814161388

Since it has a better cooler system I was going to put it in the first slot near the CPU (people told me the first slot card will get be working more than the second one).

What do you guys think? it's a good idea or i should just pick a regular one?

oh, and i was wonderning picking the 6950 ICEQ X TURBO, that is OC... I know when on crossfire it's going to work as a regular 6950, but for games i dont need crossfire i can turn it off and play with only one card, saving energy...

SO what do u think?
6950 + 6950?
6950 + 6950 IceQ?
6950 + 6950 IceQ X turbo?

Thanks!

it depends on where you're placing the 2nd card - if it is below the first one, then its fine as it won't "suffocate" from lack of cool air - otherwise, reference design does better as it exhaust hot air from your system.

I wouldn't recommend trying to "turn off, and turn on" crossfire all the time, people run into issues just trying to get CF to work properly, if the game doesn't support CF, it won't use the 2nd card anyway.

So what do you recommend me to do?
getting a IceQ and place it at the first slot (above the reference one)
since it has a better cool down?
