[ACUS] Could 3D Printing Change the World? - Page 4

I am actually about to start building a 2d painter, then I want to move into a 2d printer, then I want to move into a 3d printer. Then I want to print all of the collectible bobble heads from fallout 3.

I wonder how much the "ink" cartridges would cost for one.

And 3D action figure printing would be awesome!

The US is the number 1 manufacture in the world... if you would have paid attention in economics you would know that.

Manufacturing has been on the decline in the US for decades, the 1980' really marked the begining of the end for US manufacturing. Since the 80's we've seen massive deregulation in many industries, free trade agreements, etc, and they have all chipped away at American's median wage, standard of living and job availability. This is why Occupy Wall Street has been so much bigger than anyone thought it would get, people know why things are bad for most Americans yet better than ever for another group of Americans. But if I go any further I'll get off topic so I'll stop now.
We are the 99%.

A guy in a local Audi forum I frequent recently broke a plastic latch that hold his emergency triangle to the top of his trunk lid... he had a 3D printer at his disposal so he made a new one at work that's nearly an exact replica. I thought that was completely badd arse. Especially for replacing obscure plastic bits found in out daily lives.
