So I would list your needs as such in this order:

1) Processor
2) RAM
3) GPU

If you aren't going to use this computer to make a living, a 560ti is plenty powerful.
Well there is one thing I need to add. I normally build a new PC every 5-6 years. My last PC is from 2005 I think.

So I am looking for something some what future proof almost for about 5 years at least. I won't be upgrading till then. Which is why I might pay a little bit more for a GPU.

Yeah you definitely want to stick with the GTX line of cards then. Even mid level Quadro/Tesla cards will be out of your price range.

With quicksync handling your video transcoding, a 570 would probably be more than enough for whatever CUDA acceleration you require.

I didn't fully get the quick sync tests. Does it come on by default or do you have to run some configurations?

You can go with pretty much any brand you want. I've had only great experiences with Asus and MSI.

I guess another thing... it also will matter what kid of monitor I get. I have been looking at the: http://accessories.dell.com/sna/prod...1&sku=320-1750

Seems to fit my budget for a monitor.. not sure. Been looking around for some monitor mostly LED and this was the biggest i found that is luckly on sale for an awesome price I think and I'd need dual monitors. Free shipping too.

Just don't know if getting a gtx 560 ti or 570 and getting these monitors will work out?
