Crossfire hd 6970s

Thread Starter
I asked yesterday about seeing if GS 800 corsair psu was strong enough to power it and now am looking if it might be more beneficial to do crossfire 6970s.
I looking at gigabyte model cards but they say need (150W 8-pin PCI Express® connector recommended). I've looked everywhere and it doesn't look like corsair GS 800 has that connector. Please help me I'm don't want to have to buy bigger psu at all!

It only has 1 8 pin power. You will need a molex to 8 pin for the second card which they should come with.

It has 4 6+2 pin connectors. Your fine.

I don't remember seeing even 1 8 pin connector on it at all.. Is that adapters I would get for it to make the 6 pins to 8 pins?. I don't think It came with any adapters.

What is the 6 plus 2 connector I currently have crossfire 6870s and all it had is the 4 6 pins I saw. I'm very new and learning I appreciate your help. I just got a bigger case from a mid tower to full tower and just reconnected it all.
