Pixel skipping. - Page 3

Pick your DPI and set your sensitivity in-game. The people who say you have to set it to 1 don't know what they are talking about. Any sensitivity under 2 won't be skipping anything relevant.

I meant 3D fps game. You are right, in 2D it's true.

I guess in 3D the cursor behaves like it moves on a 2D screen that´s immediately in front of you, so the cursor moves 1 immediate frontal pixel per count... is that correct ?

I don't think it works like that. Check out this page.

If people would care to take a look a page back, 3D planes move in radians and sensitivity influences the minimum degree you can rotate.

So come on people How to i prevent pixel skipping if 1 sens is not the correct way to do it?
In 3D fps game there is no pixel skipping, because your crosshair isn't moving by pixel. With any movement the whole scene is drawn a little different. I'll give you extreme example:

attachment.php?attachmentid=235323&stc=1&d=1319309587

attachment.php?attachmentid=235324&stc=1&d=1319309587

attachment.php?attachmentid=235325&stc=1&d=1319309587

Notice the yellow lamp visible at the crosshair centre on the first screen. It disappears on the second and the third screenshot. The scene is rotated by 0.022° left (2nd screen) and 0.022° up (3rd screen), sensitivity 1.0 used. Sensitivity 1.0 could mean different angle value in other games, so it may cause more confusion.

for FPS games, you can set your DPI to w/e (as long as it works on your mouse), and your in game sens to w/e, as long as your windows sens is 6/11.

For RTS games, the in game sens may work differently than FPS, so can't really tell you much there. If you play SC2, keep the in game sens at default. (i think its 51 or 54). You can set DPI to w/e, and keep your windows sens at 6/11.
