Ok, so I borrowed a camera from a friend...
Here is my story. My parents has a hp back from 2006. Its Q6600 and still got decent specs, all except for the case. The temperature jumps to 70 ~ 80C just watching movies. The problem is that when my dad was going down to the garage to clean this computer, he accidentally dropped it about 3 steps down the stairs and the front panel got completely smashed. They were planning to get a new computer a while ago, but couldn't because my parents own a small grocery store and as the economy went bad, it impacted us really bad... Not only that, the case doesn't even have rubber case feet, instead its just metal punch outs, hence making lots of noise and rattling, creating annoying noises. Also, because of the drop, it bent the power supply mount and 2 of the left screws cannot go in, only 2 screws holding the Power supply. I don't mind only two screws holding it, but my problem is that now, the PSU fan makes a loud buzzing noise that goes on and only will stop if I open up the case and push the PSU back into place.
I do not need a case for myself, as I sold my Raven 2 to help my parents pay their bill and got a gamma, but my parents desperately need it since its their only computer and they use it very often.
I may not have the worst case nor the best story, but I would love to make my parents happy. Thank you for reading my long story.Edited by l3eans - 10/20/11 at 9:39pm
