Dubbed the 'Ultimate Battlefield 3 Simulator', it ties together the game, a 360 degree dome, the world's first portable, omni-directional treadmill, motion tracking, surround sound, five HD projectors, 12 paintball markers which let you 'feel' enemy gunfire, a wireless gun, ambient LED lighting, and a Kinect camera hack. All told, the tech runs $650,000.
I can totally see paying $50-$60 an hour for something like this.
Just don't get knifed.

I think it would be worth 50$/hr. I'd only play for an hour but it'd be awesome to feel the risk of getting shot. Never been shot by paintball either... only airsoft.

I would love to play this (SP only). In MP it could really suck, especially with the HMG campers everywhere.

This makes me think two things:
1. Wow, that is some brilliant innovation!
2. You're doing what with this brilliant innovation?
It. Gets. Better.

Imagine... 64 of these in a building with friends. One hell of a birthday party.
