Will Libre Office files read on MS office?

So I've been typing a huge presentation for class on libre office and got really far until I thought about it and now I don't know if it will even be able to be read by my teacher. Will he be able to read it without problems?

No, Microsoft's products can't read Libreoffice/Openoffice files, but IIRC you can choose "Save as..." and save it as a Microsoft compatible file (doc, xls, etc..)

You can fix that with some tweaking, or why not just present it directly from Libre Office(If you are using a laptop).

Save it as a pdf. It will look exactly like it did on your screen. Or if it is a PowerPoint, download a trial of ms office and save it in a few other formats to see how it will cross over.

Just to Update you guys the .pdf idea didn't work. I had hopes for that one too. Looks like I'm going to have to get a copy of MS Office and do some crazy fast fixes. I could use trial but I'm going to need it all through college anyway.

Why didn't PDF work? Once a PDF is created it should be portable across all viewers...

Have you tried just saving it in DOC format from LibreOffice?
