Anyways, non-ionizing radiation is non-ionizing. The radio waves pass right through the gaps between the atoms in your body. Plus living in a brick house exposes you to more radiation.
Are you referring to radon gas? If so, people actually DO monitor stuff like that too.

radiation from cell phones, is not ionizing. This entire test is based on myth. If anything, study the effects of EM on the brain, not radiation exposure on bones.

Which is irrelevant to the fact that most children are rather short.

Yup, why look at biological models when there is physics?

There's nothing wrong with being cautious.
Yes, we do know that cell phones only emit non-ionizing radiation and that non-ionizing radiation do not have enough power to damage cells. If this is not the case, then there would be massive holes in the current understanding of physics.

Being overly cautious is a waste of time, money, and resources. i.e. We should be worry more about improving school bus safety than children being kidnapped on their way to school. Cost-benefit says vastly more kids are hurt/die in bus accidents than kidnappings to school.

However, there have been other diseases that only showed up after long term exposure. People could not find a short-term causal relationship between smoking tobacco and cancer. However, there was a strong correlative relationship between smoking and cancer in long term case studies.
Smoking is different in that there are hundreds of chemicals involved. Cellular chemical reactions vary much more and there are known toxic chemicals. Cell phones on the other hand are much simplier to test. They emit radiation at known power and frequency. We know how radiation interact with atoms.
Once again...

Honestly? A 6'2" 220 Lb dummy was the best approximation of the mean that they could come up with?

It's not the chemicals that cause cancer. It is the carbon and tar you breathe when smoking.
"natural cigarettes" are just as cancerous. Also fyi... smoking weed can also cause lung cancer. Just not many people smoke 40 joints (2 packs a day) for 30+ years.

I don't know...have you looked at most Americans? They might not be six foot tall, but I wouldn't be surpised to see the average wieght of Americans is 220LBs. The hight shouldn't really factor in that much unless those few extra inches of bones makes a person repel radiation.
