[Joystiq]The Beta and Battlefield 3 damage and health changes!

Releasing a beta for Battlefield 3 might be the biggest mistake EA has made with its biggest game this year.
Quote:
As it stands now, Battlefield 3's beta is a wellspring of misinformation about what your final Battlefield 3 experience will be. I'm glad for that – I enjoyed what I've played of this more-final build of Battlefield 3 much more than any time I've spent with the game throughout the year.
Idk if this is a repost but i hadnt seen it

Anyway i felt asthough in the beta the health values were a little lower then I liked and i guess it wasnt just me.

Either way it looks like its gonna be fixed along with some weapon changes and now im even more excited

I just hope the splash damage from a tank, is more effective then it was in BFBC2.

They said somewhere else (i think twitter) the damage system has not been overhauled, contrary to what joystiq said. I think they are exaggerating the changes in the final version somewhat.

I loved the Beta (graphical glitches and stuff aside) but if they made the damage system more like Bad Company 2, then that makes me even happier. I played BC2 for months (and I usually have a short attention span with games) and thought its damage model was near perfect.

The Battlefield 3 build that I played at GeForce LAN 6 was immaculate. Pre-ordered tonight and now I just wait!
