Problems!

Okay so i built my sig a few weeks ago, its been awesome then i opened it up to finish some cable management and just generally make it look nicer inside and BOOM! nothing since. I thought it was the mobo that was the issue so being an idiot i went and bought a new Z68X-UD7, just threw it in then annnndddd still nothing. Im thinking its the PSU now but I'm 99% sure i checked that when i was trying to figure out what was wrong in another system. Anyway being corsair all the cables are black and so i cant jumper it to see if its working, any other suggestions on how to test it, without using a multimeter?

That being said, i think it's rather safe to say it was what was wrong, i highly doubt two mobos are fried one never even having turned on

when you press the power button, what happens?

you say "BOOM!" did something pop/explode?

if you did the wire tuck, perhaps one of the cables is not fully locked into place?

My first idea would be a loose cable. Another possibility would be the on switch on the case. You can jump the two prongs on the MOBO with a screwdriver to test that. If niether of those, then probably dead PSU.

Couldn`t you try connecting a fan to the PSU making sure its not dead? are the any light on the mobo lighting up?

I've gone over the cables extensively so i know it isn't that.
I have a power button on the mobo it self and i've tr4ied both that and the case switch, neither give anything, not getting any lights or anything else. Played around with the psu a bit before and the fan on that isn't doing squat when i turn it on so im pretty sure I now have my first ever f***ed power supply lol.
