Hey guys I have an 256 M4 SSD and when W8 comes out I want to do a clean install. Do I have to wipe the SSD clean before I do that? If so what program do you guys recommend using to wipe the SSD clean? Thanks!

Just do the diskpart clean command in CMD when you boot the W8 install media. All partitions will be erased.

I have an install guide in my sig for W8.

Well looking at those numbers, it's not bad.

I'm sure you have all C states enabled, if you disable them then your 4k reads /writes will go up. I'm fairly sure you're running 000F firmware which is why your write access time is that, if you roll-back to 0309 then you'll see slight reduction to ~0.200.

I'm also wondering what stripe size you chose.. the low Seq speed implies 4k or something small. I just use 128.

Now that said, I have seen 1 user with 256GB RAID0 setup (like mine and yours) score 400MB/s for 4k-64thrds reads. What you get is what I get (+/- 20MB/s depending on it's mood).

Looks like SATA 2. Nothing is wrong..unless you have Intel SATA 3 ports you aren't using!

Nope, I 100% have them both hooked up through Sata III (6gb/s) on my motherboard. I have an Asus Maximus IV Gene-z/Gen3.
