Hmm am still getting a low score with 30gb of free space should I connect it to a Sata3 port? I currently have it connected to Sata2 I think

If it were plugged into SATA 2 then you wouldn't get speeds over 280MB/s.

Let it sit idle a while logged out overnight. Scores will go backup.

Recently had a system upgrade; speeds went up since I went from Sata 2 to Sata 3. Though, I don't really notice any difference.

Is this normal?

Yep

The increase in sequential reads does not give a noticeable difference with SSDs.

What about the 4K alignment? Is seems to be off, I see most people with 1024.

That # is just the space b/w the beginning of the partition table to the start of your current tested partition. So, if you have multiple partitions before that # will be different. What matters is that it is green, not red. That means the alignment is fine.
