Would I get better performance out of my RAIDed SSDs with a RAID card which has on-board memory ?
In RAID 1, 0, and 10 I doubt. RAID 5, 50, 6, 60, etc then yes.

Hows everyone experience with the new Firmware? Anyone using it with EFI boards?

Did it impact your AS SSD scores at all?

I love my 2 Crucial M4 128GB in Raid 0. I know its a little overkill but it was fun and the first time I ever played with raid.

Well I thought these things were fast on my ASUS Z68 board. They're wicked fast on my MSI Z77 board.

If I want to get into BIOS, I have to be parked on the DEL key the moment I hit the power button to start the computer up. Otherwise, forget it.

And that's on old firmware. I haven't had any issues, so I haven't seen any point in upgrading the firmware.

Update your OS to Win8, request EVGA to send you the new UEFI vBIOS then disable CSM and you won't even see POST anymore.. that's when you can say these things fly (even though it's now a combination of everything lol).

Just updated to 040H. So far so good.
I just updated to the latest as well, didn't notice any difference. But do these numbers look right? The 4K, 4K QD32, and 4K-64thrd numbers don't even look comparable to many others I've seen. I recently went to Windows 8 and noticed a dropoff in PCMark7 benchmark scores. I'm running a 256GB M4 SSD.

Here are two results from PCMark7. Same overclock settings, one is Windows 7, one is Windows 8.
