I think you need to be running your SATA controller in AHCI mode, and judging by what looks like a RAID array, you're not.

loses when clicking manage.

so wait, are you trying to SRT one of your mechanical HDDs? You have to be in RAID mode in the BIOS for the Accelerate feature to come up in the Intel software. but it's weird that it doesn't detect the capacity at all...

He has a RAID 0 array with his 2 M4s lol. And the Accelerate feature only comes up in RAID mode. He migrated a install over to his RAID array. He just reinstalled THE Intel driver and his drives show up properly now.

And I don't think he understands what the acceleration does. Cause if he were to enable it he would lose all his data. lachen.gif

Oh right, I hadn't realised that it used RAID at all.

Why is this score so low? It's nearly 500 points lower than exzacklyright's comparatively and we're using the same RAID setup I think. I followed Sean's guide including the system setup tweaks at the end.

Here are my results with Write-back cache enabled. Something is still way wrong compared to your scores, lol. Any ideas?

Thanks for the links. Are your drives in RAID plugged into the Intel or ASRock ports on your board?

Just out of curiosity if any of you guys bought your m4s in the past two weeks or so, did they have the updated firmware with the bug fix?

I can't wait to get mine, placed my order last night.

Also, what kind of speeds do you guys think I could get on my Sata 2 board?

Thanks guys smile.gif
