OK, so I thought my problem was from the sata 2 connectors which are run by the p67 chipset, just out of curiosity I plugged them in the sata 3 ports run by marwell controller and to my surprise better results. And by a fair margin, seq reads doubled and 4k-65Thrd aswell, 4k increased by 8Mb/s write and 6Mb/s read, there wasnt anything major in the seq writes.

Easy way to tell is look at the top left of AS SSD, if it says iaStor after you install the SATA drviers it is intel, if it says Marv9x or something it is marvell.

does he not have the latest Drive installed on this Crucial? how come its doesnt say IaStor --OK ?

I ask because my AS Benchmark beats his by 50 points total score, but by 70 mb on write speed
