Keep in mind that includes programs like iTunes, 7-zip, utorrent, Steam, Origin, Chrome Firefox etc.
I've got to install the Master Collection tonight, along with Office.. Should i put those on the SSD or HDD?

Thanks!
Well I'm planning to put Chrome, Sims 3 and BF3 in for sure. Maybe Steam if I have enough storage!

Are you going for a 128GB or a 64? Doesn't really matter, just don't bother with BF3 on there. Makes no difference much for me or most people. Even if it does 9/10 you'll join the round super early and have to wait 20 seconds anyway..

Other games/apps yes! For sure, just not BF3. thumb.gif

Ahh I just remember that it doesn't really improve FPS wise after you said that tongue.gif So I won't put it on at all!

I'm getting the 64GB for now to get use to how SSD works then I'll upgrade to a larger capacity!

The only things i'm planning to put on there is the aforementioned stuff and other programs that are used in the Windows environment (I.E not fullscreen games/apps).
This will maximise free space on the SSD for me, which i really think 64GB is heaps if you "tune" the OS install.. (Pagefile etc). Having 8GB+ helps as you can just turn the pagefile to 400mb.

Along with turning other things off/on that boost SSD performance, just remember to turn ACHI mode on BEFORE the Windows 7 install.. It's annoying having to go and change it in the registry and possibly lose the data.

Anyway enough said, i really do think a 64GB/90GB SSD and a Terabyte hard drive is right where it's at now. Seeing as It's about the same price as a 120GB SSD. thumb.gif

The only thing i placed on my SSD other than Windows and some applications is SCII. I would've even gotten away wth a 64GB SSD, but decided to go a bit bigger for extra room, if i ever need it i temporarily move other games to the SSD to help load times, and future-proofing (Windows and SCII are not going to become smaller rolleyes.gif)

Hi, I'd ilke to buy a Crucial M4 SSD, can you tell me if it is shipped with kit for 3.5" mobil rack (for Case Cooler master HAF-X) or have I to buy it separately?
thanks

The HAF X already comes with a 2.5"-3.5" adapter...

You are right, I know it but may be the assembler did not give me them. If Crucial M4 SSD is not shipped without kit,
can you tell me if Crucial M4 has its own kit and if will be easy to find the kit online?
