You could also use it for F@H when you're not gaming on it, or if the game you're playing doesn't support PhysX.

I've had a little look at this too.. Want to learn a bit more before I download the client.

Yea, do more research biggrin.gif

Review I have seen was with a single card + PPU. So when you crossfire from 2 - 4 GPUs, please take that into consideration.

I have 2 x Sapphire HD6950 2gb reflashed with the 6970 BIOS running at the moment.

1 - Would it be worthwhile adding a card such as the one mentioned above to the setup?

2 - Is the 9500GT the card to get?

3 - If it is worth getting one would I just plug it in and away it goes doing its little PhysX dance everytime I use the computer?

Cheers drum.gif

Hi, are you running the 2gb Sapphire 9650 dirt 3 edition? If so, how did you go about flashing it to 6970 please? biggrin.gif

Yeah I am. USed the ATIWinflash program with the Sapphire.HD6970.2048.101124.bin file. I can send you the files needed including a nice easy batch file to try it if you like? If I'm allowed to do things like that on this forum?

I'm somewhat newbie at computers (first build) so that sentence was confusing lol. But I am installing my second card today, should I wait to do that once both are already in and in crossfire? But go ahead and send me them to thebassoe@gmail.com if you have the time.. and a little explanation on what to actually do lol biggrin.gif THANK YOU!!

Arkham city was the game thats drawn my attention that uses it. I've got MAFIA II too but not got round to playing it yet got stuck into RAGE instead.

very few games have support for physX... its just not worth the extra money IMO, and it produses more heat and draws more power...
