WASD vs. Daskeyboard - Page 2

WASD. Everything about the board is high quality. I honestly can't say anything bad about it, maybe the fact that they don't offer a ten keyless version.

Krame is that the board posted on GH with the new lasered caps ? That totally put me in the market for white keycaps but I may go PBT with side printing when I saw it. That think is Sexy.

I've not used the DAS but I can tell you that you will be very happy with the WASD. I am currently using it in Blue switches here at work and using a Filco TKL in Browns at home for gaming/typing.

I really love them both and they have inspired me to learn tough typing and break 15 years of bad typing habits.

For 120 and the Customization options I think you can't go wrong.

O_o...that up there looks sexy...I kinda want to drop my Das and get something that looks like the above... x_x...if they only had MX Clear's in full keyboard configuration (don't mention Deck...ugly and expensive)

Oh and you won't really read about it, but email Das, you'll have to provide proof that you're currently a student...but hey it'll come in under $100 vs the $120+ for the WASD, though it isn't customizable

I believe those keycaps will fit on a DAS. Just need to order them from WASD.

...Wait really? I don't wanna plop down $40-$50 just to find out i can't replace things like the space bar and other stuff...

According to Ripster Das and Filco use the same molds and I know WASD fits on a Filco.

You can ask the WASD owner in the GH forums or call them. They are pretty resonsive and awesome to work with.

WASD is probably roughly equivelant to a Leopold or Das. I'd say that Deck and Filco are marginally more sturdy, but only through what I've heard.

If you wanted something more than black or white, maybe some custom keycaps then WASD is a great deal.

WASD has better build quality than filco, I've had both. They're amazing keyboards, no reason to overpay for a filco.
