If a company treats you well, if you like the way that they carry out their business, and if their products successfully carry out the function for which you have a requirement (the "purchasing factors" that I consider), then there's nothing blind about it. Obviously, if they begin to screw me over, I'll have the sense to look elsewhere.
And it's not about honor... it's about rewarding the companies who actually care about doing good things correctly for their customers, even if you are just one person.
