Just built new pc...

Thread Starter
and found out my current PSU only has a 4 pin connection for the motherboard but the new motherboard needs a 8 pin. So could you guys recommend me something for my new system:

i5 2500k (Obviously want to OC)
Asus P8P67 Pro
HD 6870 (Might get another in a year or so)
G Skill 8 GB
640GB + 1.5TB HDD
64GB SSD
Samsung Blu Ray drive

This Antec psu has good reviews, would 650W be enough?

Thanks!!

Ive ran a pc on a 4pin before, it just might hold back the overclock.

650W IS more than enough for CF, A qualily 550-600 would do for CF.

They make 4 pin to 8 pin adapters. I think they sell for like $5

granted you can run it on a 4pin, but u should just return/sell the old psu and get one with a 8pin eps connection, so u can fully OC to your hearts content

The TPN you linked above is an excellent unit and of the best deals in UK shops at the moment, go for that.
