How loud is the 1155 stock cooler? - Page 2

Its not that noisey... but its that bad. Its ok for stock settings... But seriously, who buys an i5 or i7 and leave it at stock settings.

Like many people said above, get the Hyper 212. I'm currently using one of those while I save for water cooling, and I got to say its pretty good and its very cheap.

well compared to your Shuriken, it is going to be a tad bit louder... just because of fan blade size.

if you are worried it is going to be too much, then just get an aftermarket one for piece of mind. try out the stock one and if you can live with it, return the other or sell it on OCN. if you cant stand it, swap it out.

spending the extra $25.00 or whatever will at least make you feel better because you are covered either way. (it does with me when I have trouble deciding)

Thanks. Guess I'll stick with it for now and hope it does the job.
